alba: a wildlife adventure is a game for grandparents to play with grandchildren, presuming those little ones aren’t too little: I’d guess 7 to 11—not that I’m any kind of expert.

It’s summer holiday time, and Alba is a kid adventuring on gran’s & grandad’s idyllic island. It’s a game about spotting birds and saving animals, about fixing & tidying stuff while you’re at it. It might induce an interest in ornithology in the right child—it’s more than just a game.

There is narrative and puzzle here, again the kind of thing that should challenge a preteen child, but not an older one, especially not an older one with grey hair!

Seriously, I recommend this as a great way to help bond with a child. Having said that, I have no descendents myself, so I could be talking complete nonsense, as I often do.
