I continue to experiment with the pair of pinhole cameras I bought a while ago. I think I have finally got the hang of taking photos with them.

What I have not got the hang of, though, is successfully unloading the 120 film. Too many times, something has gone wrong and I’ve caused serious light burns. For example, with this film, I failed to roll the exposed film onto its spool sufficiently tightly.

Another problem is scanning. The images here are low resolution, not because of the camera, but because I’ve still not solved scanning. Here, I used my phone, but, despite all the claims of the phone manufacturers, the results are very low resolution. Perhaps the phone can scan at high resolution as the manufacturers claim, but, if so, that feature is pointlessly hidden andor disabled somewhere deep inside the shite presume–users–are–morons user interface design that dominates modern smart phone software.

I wanted to experiment with indoor shots. I think they, per se, have worked. You can see some of the results here. I feel the slightly odd focus, etc., is an effect of the nature of the camera itself, but it could be another screw–up I’m yet to recognise.

Basically, I need to take more shots, with fewer, or at least different, mistakes.
