Why does President Bush hate Iran?

Iran and America are similar. Lets compare a few facts, shall we:

Iran:

• Has not invaded any country recently.
• Has not caused the death of 100,000 of that country’s citizens.
• Interferes in other country’s internal disputes.
• Has sponsored terrorists (Hamas).
• Tortures and kills prisoners.
• Has rigged most of its elections since its last revolution.
• Is controlled by religious fundamentalists.
• Created by popular revolution.

The USA:

• Has invaded a number of countries recently.
• Has killed 100,000 of that country's citizens.
• Interferes in other country’s internal disputes.
• Has sponsored terrorists (the IRA, Irgun Tsvai–Leumi).
• Tortures prisoners, kills prisoners.
• Has rigged many of its elections since its last revolution.
• Is controlled by religious fundamentalists.
• Founded by a terrorist (George Washington).

So the key difference is the USA kills lots of foreigners, whereas the Iranians kill a few of their own. Apart from that, these countries’ attributes are pretty much identical. Is that why they hate each other so much?
